BKHY Mission Statement
BKHY is dedicated to developing and motivating swimmers at all levels. We support student athletes in the sport of competitive swimming by developing the character traits, technical skills and intense desire necessary for maximum realization of each individual's potential. BKHY provides a fun, team-building experience while instilling the YMCA's philosophy of character development. BKHY recognizes the contribution of all of its members and strives to maintain athletic excellence in a supportive team environment. |
Private Lessons and Private Video Instruction
Open to members and non-members!
Utilizing underwater video and Dartfish software.
The Buckeye Swim Club now offers private video lessons at the Columbus North Sports Club. Swimmers will schedule 45 minute lessons with the coaching staff member of their choice. The lessons will concentrate on the individual needs of each swimmer. Each lesson will include underwater video and video analysis of each stroke, start and turns or of another point of emphasis of the swimmers choice. The swimmer will receive a DVD analysis or can choose to have their analysis upload to the team website for quick and fast feedback. If you are interested in privates, please contact the coach of your choice to schedule and/or ask questions. Lessons are $50 per 45 minute session.
